We love Winterton and when Rose Cottage was no longer available thought it would be difficult to find anything comparable. Harbour Cottate is lovely, especially the conservatory which gives you so much light even in November. The beach is wonderful for the dog. Yes we would certainly stay there again. Mrs G, NEWMARKET 07 November 2010
Lovely cottage, very close to sandy beach and pub serving excellent food. Mrs L, WELLING, Kent 27 September 2010
The cottage is lovely and has a great kitchen, conservatory and decking area. The area and local pub (2 min walk) are very dog friendly, some may think overly so but for dog lovers it is perfect. The beach is a 5 min walk and the dunes are even closer and great for walking in. The colony of seals are also very close being about a hour walk north up the coast and are brilliant to see. A great cottage and a great area. Mr W, NOTTINGHAM, Nottinghamshire 14 September 2010
I would recommend this holiday to anyone, the village is superb and the beach brilliant. The pub, cottage and beach are all dog friendly which is just what a dog owner needs. We have had a brilliant time and would return there again. Ms W, BARNSLEY, South Yorkshire 12 July 2010
I would definitely recommend a holiday at Winterton on Sea, staying in Harbour Cottage. Winterton has everything you need for a quiet seaside holiday (lovely beach, great beach cafe, good pub, post office, general store and friendly locals) Its also near to the brighter lights of Hemsby and Great Yarmouth. There are lots of places of interest locally for you to visit too.
Harbour Cottage is a lovely place to stay. It's spacious, homely and very thoughtfully kitted out (for want of better words) with everything that you would find at home.
We had a great time! Mrs R, CORBY, Northamptonshire 29 August 2009
The location was very relaxing and had easy access to other areas without a lot of travelling. Winterton-On-Sea is a lovely village and the beach goes for miles! Mrs W, CLACTON-ON-SEA, Essex 28 June 2009
We would recommend this holiday to families or couples who are looking to be close to the beach or be central to places to travel to. There are some lovely walks very close by through the sand dunes and the village is absolutely beautiful. We would definitely recommend the Dune Cafe - great bacon and egg rolls, and some scrumtious home made cakes! Mrs P, Reading, Berkshire 09 June 2009
A lovely old cottage which was very comfortable and we had a relaxing stay. The beach is within a 5 minute walk, and the village pub serves excellent food. Mrs L, Welling, Kent 05 June 2009
The cottage was beautifully presented and situated in an idyllic village with a friendly pub, only a few minutes stroll from a magnificent sandy beach. Great walking through miles of unspoilt dunes in a protected nature reserve. What more could you ask? Mr B, Taunton 25 October 2008
Harbour Cottage is very well equipped as well as being an attractive "chocolate box" cottage. Winterton is an ideal location for families looking for a seaside holiday away from the hustle and bustle of resorts. The local beach and dunes are ideal for dog walkers. Mr H, Swadlincote 02 August 2008
A nice cosy cottage in a perfect location for dog owners. Mr B, Weston-Super-Mare, Avon 21 October 2006
